Well, it’s finally about to happen, we are heading off soon to Europe again. Back in 2019 we booked a trip to Europe but due to two years of Covid lockdowns in greater Melbourne and a few family events, good and bad, we haven’t managed to leave Australia since.

What will we be doing and where are we going, you may ask?

First up we will be flying to Germany via Vietnam with Vietnam Airlines.

Whilst there we will visit Stuttgart, Radolfzell and Lindau on Lake Constance (Bodensee) and Kempten in the Allgäu part of Bavaria so we can catch up with Karen’s cousins.

After that we are headed to Sesto in the Italian Dolomites for some sightseeing and hiking with one of Karen’s younger cousins.

Next up we will travel to Strasbourg to meet up with friends. Back in 2015 we took a boat along the Canal du Midi. We liked it so much we have hired another boat and will be travelling along the Canal du Marne au Rhine for a week in the Alsace region.

Finally we will be having a brief stopover in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam on our way back to have a taste of an Asian country we haven’t travelled through yet.
