Mid afternoon we drove out about 12 kms to Reeds Lookout carpark and made the short walk to the lookout. Even from the start of the trail there was an excellent view.

After ascending a bit the view was even better.

Soon the trail was a short section of slightly elevated boardwalk.

Some bright yellow ‘egg and bacon’ wildflowers were growing along the edge of the path.

Not long after the trail had a little stopping point with a great view.

Karen walked on to the next viewpoint while I waited to put her into my next photo to give a bit of perspective.

Here I am.

It sure is a nice panorama and the walk is easily done.

Next post we take the much steeper walk down to Mackenzie Falls and back up again!
What beautiful views – and such perfect weather with clear skies!

This walk certainly offers fabulous vistas and it’s not a very long or difficult walk.
