Winton – Arno’s Wall

Arno’s Wall

Part art, part architecture, part genius, part weird, but largely one man’s practical construction which uses lots of junk culled from the local tip to make a 2m high wall down the side of his property.

Now I won’t ramble on because a sign board at the front of his property describes his creation and the reasons behind it far more effectively than I could. Plus there is an interesting mini biography.

In the front yard are a couple of sculptures made from what many would describe as junk also.

I now finish this post with a collection of my photos of Arno’s Wall so you can see for yourself the ingenuity and creativity of Arno for yourselves. I hope you find it as fascinating as Karen and I did.
